The March 2026 Omnibus

This month's Clarity Omnibus surveyed likely midterm voters on their support for recent military action in Iran, concerns regarding the economy, and which party they trust more to handle rising costs.

Key insights from this survey include:

  • Voters view recent military action in Iran negatively, with 48% opposing the military action to 42% supporting it. 

  • Democrats hold a trust advantage over Republicans on some affordability-related issues, such as lowering healthcare costs (+11%), lowering the cost of living (+9%), and making housing more affordable (+6%).

  • Frustrations with the economy are persistent, with a majority of voters rating the national economy (63%), their local economy (55%) and their personal financial situation (57%) as “poor” or “fair”.
